By accessing and using DocParser ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

DocParser provides an AI-powered document parsing and data extraction platform. The Service allows users to upload documents, define extraction templates, and automatically extract structured data from various document types including PDFs, images, and other file formats.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.2 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

4. User Obligations

You agree not to:

  • Upload documents containing illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use the Service for any automated or bulk processing without permission
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by DocParser and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 Your Content

You retain all rights to the documents and data you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6. Payment and Billing

6.1 Subscription Plans

Access to certain features requires a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay all fees associated with your selected plan.

6.2 Billing

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension

6.3 Refunds

Refunds are handled according to our Return Policy. Please refer to that document for detailed information.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocParser shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Unauthorized access to your data
  • Errors or inaccuracies in extracted data
  • Third-party conduct or content

9. Warranty Disclaimer

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of data extraction results.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DocParser and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
