At DocParser, we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. This Return & Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which you may request a refund for our subscription-based document parsing service.

2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. If you're not satisfied with DocParser within the first 30 days of your initial subscription, you may request a full refund.

✓ Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a first-time subscriber to DocParser
  • Request must be made within 30 days of initial payment
  • Account must not have violated our Terms of Use
  • Applies to monthly and annual subscription plans

3. Subscription Cancellations

3.1 How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting our support team. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

3.2 Prorated Refunds

For cancellations outside the 30-day money-back guarantee period:

  • Monthly Plans: No prorated refunds. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
  • Annual Plans: Prorated refunds may be issued at our discretion for cancellations within the first 6 months, minus any applicable processing fees and usage costs.

4. Refund Exceptions

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • Account suspension or termination due to Terms of Use violations
  • Subscription renewals (after the initial 30-day period)
  • Partial month usage
  • Add-on services or additional document processing credits
  • Requests made after the account has been deleted
  • Fraudulent or disputed charges (subject to investigation)

5. Service Credits

In cases of significant service disruptions or technical issues, we may offer service credits as an alternative to refunds. Service credits:

  • Can be applied to future billing periods
  • Are non-transferable and have no cash value
  • Expire if the account is closed
  • Are issued at our sole discretion

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our support team at support@docparser.com
  2. Include your account email and subscription details
  3. Provide a brief reason for the refund request
  4. Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days
  5. If approved, refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days

7. Refund Processing

7.1 Processing Time

Once a refund is approved, it will be processed within 5-10 business days. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider and may take an additional 3-5 business days.

7.2 Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. If the original payment method is no longer available, please contact our support team for alternative arrangements.

8. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve the issue:

  • Your account will be immediately suspended
  • Access to all data and documents will be restricted
  • You may be subject to a chargeback fee
  • We reserve the right to pursue legal action for fraudulent chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any billing disputes amicably.

9. Enterprise and Custom Plans

Refund and cancellation terms for Enterprise and custom pricing plans may differ from standard subscriptions. Please refer to your individual service agreement or contact your account manager for specific terms.

10. Free Trial

If we offer a free trial period, you may cancel at any time during the trial without being charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription plan you selected.

11. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Return & Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
